English riding boots?

I have this Aussie saddle that I use on my draft horse but it pinches the inside of my calf. I was told that hunt boots would help so I was thinking about getting some cheap rubber hunt type boots (cheap cuz I don’t primarly ride in that saddle) my question is will the bots still protect my calf if i wear them under my jeans?? and any other advise that you can give is apreciated. thanx
Ok so can I wear half chaps under my jeans lol or wont that work??

I personally ride with half-chaps. They protect your leg from being rubbed.
