Would a pair of insoles help a pair of work boots more suitable?

I have a pair of slip on work boots, they fit pretty good length wise, but they slip off the heel, it makes me mad. I tried to wear two pairs of socks, it is the best fit boots, but my feet sweat like crazy. Can a pair of Dr. Scholl insoles work? If yes, where can I get?
