Just friends but I’m sure he wants more?
Im just friends with a man who is wealthy, divorced and early retired. This is not WHY Im friends with him, it just happens to be his situation. He tells me if he were 15 years younger, he’d marry me in a heart beat. I’m 29, he’s 49. I’m not physical attracted to him.
He has me selling a corvette for him since he’s not computer savvy, and wants to give me a commission for the sale: a full set of biking gear (Harley Jacket, boots, a vest, jeans, shirts) and $1000 to put in my bank for a trip to Daytona in March. He also mentioned after Christmas buying me a motorcycle (older, maybe $2000 tops) for me to learn on. I keep saying to him “just friends” “Not your girlfriend” in conversations, so I know Im not leading him on.
My question is if I’m upfront with the “Im not your girlfriend We’re just friends” Is that “commission” wrong to take?
SWeetie, WAKE UP!! This is a guy, after all. He is doing all this for you to try and cement himself into your life. So you feel indebted to him. So you will feel obligated to him. And that is when he will try to sleep with you!
