Can you get a heel shoe?

Is a shoemaker able to reduce the height of a heel on a shoe / boot? I'm getting married soon I'm already almost 6 feet tall. My father is walking me down the aisle and is already slightly shorter than me and embarrassment. I want a small heel rather than flats, but I can not find what I want (ivory satin boots) to no less than 3 inches high, unless they have obtained a heel western boot style. I wonder if a shoe is able to reduce the height of a heel stileto on a shoe / boot?

I just had this done last week. It can be done, but it depends on the shoe to determine how much can be removed. My heels needles were 5 inches and the shoe took off only 1/4inch. He suggested that if I take too much off the big toe to the Sole / go too far (but Again it was my shoe style). I had cut just so I can walk and believe me 1 / 4 inch looks like nothing but it makes a big difference. Bring them inside and can verify them. If you can not find shoes to get within 3 inches obtain any type of shoes just to walk down the aisle then change when you're done.
